This is more than a training program, as the mentoring component takes the training and support beyond the classroom and into your workplace,” she said.

The Stepping Up: Young Entrepreneurs Training and Mentoring Program runs for six weeks, with the opportunity to continue to develop skills through Council’s Mentoring Program.

About the Facilitator

"I had the privilege to be able to attend your seminar and I wanted to take the time to let you know just how enriched and empowered I felt after listening to you. I’ve learnt more about sales than in 8 years of previous experience and training. In all cases the techniques you described were very simple and the clear nature of your message was perhaps the most profound circumstance.  I feel a great deal more confident of my ability to be able to create traction with key targets in a shorter timeframe now. My mind set has been turned upside down and I can't wait to see what transpires". Michael Delaney-Pedestal

Would you like to be a mentor?

As per the www.smallbiz.nsw.gov.au website:

“If you have a minimum of five years recent experience as a business owner or manager and would like to be considered as a mentor, then we would like to hear from you.

Mentors need to have strong communication skills and be prepared to sign agreements that preclude conflicts of interest and breaches of confidentiality.

Mentoring is a rewarding experience as the mentor can pass on knowledge, insights and skills to help young business owners overcome hurdles and create new sales, jobs and profits”
